Language
Overview

Canassarene is the official language of Canassar. Neutral clauses are subject–verb–object. Arguments occupy a small set of ordered roles, and aspect, tense, and negation are shown by particles rather than by verb inflection. The standard lexicon is recorded in the companion dictionary. Regional dialects share that inventory and grammar; they differ chiefly in surface phonology.
